Adrian Notsinneh works for the Contract Roads Department of the Jicarilla Apache Nation. He lives in Dulce, New Mexico with his wife and children .
Jicarilla Apache bow and arrow set with deerskin quiver. This product is made for the use in a traditional ceremony of the Jicarilla Apache. The arrows are natural chokecherry wood, the fleching is made from turkey feathers and the arrowheads made from barrel hoops which was a technique used by Apaches historically. The bow is made from oak with a sinew bowstring. The set was made by Jicarilla Apache Artisan Bryan F. Vigil who has made these for many years. He is 58 years old and lives in Dulce, New Mexico on the Jicarilla Apache Reservation.
